Millie Bot is an assembled robotics kit consisting of third-party hardware components and open-source software. The hardware components (computing devices, sensors, motors, batteries, and electronics) are manufactured and certified by their respective vendors. Dream Cloud Club assembles these components and provides custom software for educational and hobbyist use.
Millie Bot is designed for personal, educational, and hobbyist purposes only. It is not intended for commercial deployment, industrial use, childcare, eldercare, security, or any application where failure could result in injury, property damage, or financial loss. The robot should be supervised at all times during operation.
The purchaser assumes full responsibility for any modifications, repairs, or alterations made to the robot after delivery. If you choose to disassemble, rewire, or modify any components, you do so at your own risk. Always follow the safety guidelines provided by the original component manufacturers.
The software included with Millie Bot is provided under an Educational Use License. You may use, study, and modify the software for personal and educational purposes. Commercial use of the software is not permitted without written authorization. See our GitHub repositories for full license terms.
Millie Bot contains hardware manufactured by third parties including but not limited to computing devices, cameras, LiDAR sensors, motor controllers, and batteries. These components are covered by their original manufacturer warranties and certifications. Dream Cloud Club does not manufacture these components and is not responsible for defects in third-party hardware.
By purchasing and operating Millie Bot, you acknowledge that robotics involves inherent risks including but not limited to: moving parts that may cause injury, batteries that may overheat if mishandled, and autonomous behavior that may be unpredictable. You assume full responsibility for safe operation and supervision of the robot.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DREAM CLOUD CLUB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, LOSS OF DATA, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF MILLIE BOT, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to Millie Bot shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product.
MILLIE BOT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the robot will operate without interruption or error, or that it is suitable for any particular application.
Millie Bot is not a toy. It contains batteries, electrical components, and moving parts. Assembly and operation should only be performed by adults (18+) or under direct adult supervision. Keep away from young children and pets during operation.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dream Cloud Club and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of Millie Bot, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of Millie Bot after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
